Sorry, but this won’t be a very refined post. Maybe I’ll come back in a week and spruce it up a little with pictures or something. Here were some off my raw impressions and experiences seeing a couple of my musical heros.
Secret Squirrel had a 4 minute intro and 3 minute outro. Wave Motion Gun rocked my core. Blackbird had some amazingly intricate rest beats. I got a chuckle out of Dylan for jamming out to Punk Rock Superstar. Rock n’ Roll heros was truth. Rebel Sodvile was a mountain of emotion punctuated with its chorus of long, high notes.
Woz claimed he had a bit of pnemonia, but I think he was joking a little. He added some very comedic coughs. His stage presence was very natural.
After the show there was a meet and greet after and I got autographs and a picture! I met a guy named Dave who needed someone to take a picture which was me. He got a St. Joe vinyl single signed. It was 2:30 by the time I left, but how could I pass on the opportunity to meet Woz? He’s a trip. We barely talked for 3-4 minutes and he was already going off on manifesting new realities. Suffice to say, I think we hit it off pretty well.
